you are your own happiness

you are your own happiness

yes that is right 

you are your own happiness

you are responsible for it

you are fully held accountable for it

you are what makes you happy in this world 

and what ever you do translates to that happiness 

let me share with you all a personal story that will reflect

and mainly explain the idea of how you are the happiness of your self

last year 

i have help out a friend with their own business 

thinking that maybe that is the right thing to do 

and since it is the best thing to do which is to stand by them 

i have decided to be with them

for a period of time with them

i have discovered things

that put me in a challenging position

where in i felt maybe perhaps that is not the thing for me

and so i decided that i will just lift off and go 

and seek a place where i would be happy in 

and where i will find myself in a lot less of a troubled position 

much to my surprise 

i have gotten the opportunity 

it was the suitable opportunity

as soon as i wanted to step into it

everyone else stepped in to intervene 

and to stop me

telling me that they had certain expectations about me

mainly my own friend had all those expectations about

how i was suppose to be with them

and i was suppose to grow expand that business together 

and so what i thought of back then

as a good idea 

was to just let the opportunity pass over 

since i am stuck with what i had at that time

and that it would (hurt them)

and so i have sacrificed and put my own 

happiness over theirs 

not knowing what may come

not knowing that 

i am suppose to defined for myself

and defined for what may represent my happiness

and my own full right towards accepting whatever opportunity

at what ever given time and place !

the hard lesson about this story 

after swallowing the hard truth 

and learning from this lesson 

is that after doing that 

(sacrificing your happiness for others)

you bear the bitterness 

of missing out on that opportunity

and you will feel the disappointment from their reactions

moral of the story 

Never given 

and NEVER sacrifice your happiness 

in place of others 

when it comes to your own befit !

you will regret it later on 

and will bear the bitterness of it
